Dear Members, Dear Participants,
It is a great pleasure for us to host the ISOLS Meeting 2013 in Bologna. For this Meeting we have chosen the title "Common language for the New Century", our aim is to redirect all of us to the use of common systems of analysis when evaluating surgical margins, functional results and types of failures of the reconstructions in limb salvage. To this aim, focus groups have been organized, to reassess the problem and provide recommendations for the classification systems to use for abstracts submissions. Due to this, abstract submission, will be opened by February 1st, 2013 and closed on May 1st. Our wish is to open 2013 ISOLS Meeting to the more cooperative participation of researches involved in the treatment of musculoskeletal tumors. There will be a session dedicated to basic and translational research, namely to the innovations in biology, medical oncology and technology that impact on surgery and treatment of musculoskeletal tumors. We look forward to see you in September 2013 in Bologna for the 17th General Meeting ISOLS.
